We would urge you not to attend clinic bases in person unless you have been invited to attend a face to face appointment. You can telephone the service to check whether the appointment is taking place face to face or via an online video call.

Face to Face Appointments

Please ensure you are physically well. Please DO NOT attend the clinic if you have symptoms of: 

  • a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
  • a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
  • a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal.

If you are unsure, please contact the clinic first. 

Please use the hand sanitiser available in all the clinic bases.

If you have a mask, please wear it.

All CAMHS staff that will be observing the social distance guidelines and be completing regular hand washing also.

Attending A&E in Emergencies

Please only go to A&E if you are in need of urgent medical attention.
